What exactly is a smoothie bowl?

The name says it all: a smoothie bowl is a small bowl filled with a thick, creamy smoothie. Unlike a regular smoothie, which you drink through a straw, you eat this one with a spoon. Delicious and easy to enjoy!

What makes this smoothie bowl truly special? The toppings! Granola, fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, coconut, cacao nibs, or a sprig of fresh mint… anything goes. This makes it a complete meal that will keep you feeling full for a long time.

How do you make a delicious smoothie bowl?

The base? Frozen fruit like banana, mango, or berries. Blend these in a blender with yogurt or milk until thick and creamy. Not too runny, so it's easy to scoop.

Then it's time to get creative. Sprinkle with granola, some leftover nuts, a handful of fresh berries, or some shredded coconut. Use what you have, experiment, and above all, make it your own party.
