Fancy a quick and healthy snack you can make together with your kids? This refreshing apple sandwich with peanut butter and granola is not only easy, but also the perfect combination of sweet and crunchy. We bet you'll want another one afterward!
This is what you need (4 people)
- 2 apples
- nut paste
- XAVIES' Nuts Seeds
- lemon juice (optional)
This is how you prepare it
Core the apples with an apple corer and cut them into slices about 1 cm thick. Don't have an apple corer? Use a small cookie cutter (any other shape is fine). You'll need a total of 8 apple slices.
Take 4 apple slices and spread each with 1 tablespoon of nut butter. Then sprinkle the granola over the nut butter. Place the remaining apple slices on top of the filled slices and press them down lightly. Enjoy!
Tip : If you're not eating the apple sandwich right away, brush the apples with a little lemon juice first to prevent them from browning.
