Chocolate smoothie bowl with granola

What's better than starting your day with chocolate? This bowl tastes deliciously sweet and creamy thanks to the pure cocoa and ripe frozen banana. A healthy, 100% vegan alternative for chocolate milkshake fans—but nutritious enough to start your morning. 🌿

This is what you need

  • 120 ml vegetable milk of your choice
  • 2 frozen bananas*
  • 2 pitted dates
  • 2 tablespoons pure cocoa powder
  • 60 grams of XAVIES' Nuts Chocolate granola
  • a handful of fresh raspberries per bowl
  • a sprig of fresh mint per bowl

*Tip: Do you have bananas covered in brown spots? Don't throw them away! Instead, peel them, slice them, and store them in a container in the freezer. The riper the bananas, the sweeter they are. Freezing them in chunks makes them easier to blend.

This is how you prepare it

This recipe is a snap to make and perfect for an unexpected chocolate craving. Combine the milk, frozen banana, dates, and cocoa in a blender and blend until smooth. Always add the milk first; it makes blending easier.

Pour the smoothie into two bowls and top with a generous scoop of Nuts Chocolate Granola, raspberries, and a sprig of fresh mint. So simple and so delicious!

Variation tips 🌸

👉 For a tropical twist: crunchy chopped peanuts, banana slices and a drizzle of peanut butter.
👉 For extra crunch: roasted coconut flakes, blackberries and cacao nibs.
👉 For a summery version: halved strawberries, almond butter and some chia seeds.
