A simple yet festive recipe: warm, baked pears with cranberries, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a crunchy topping of XAVIES' Coconut-Cinnamon Granola. The perfect sweet treat for your fall or winter dinner.
This is what you need
- 2 pears
- 12 cranberries
- 4 tbsp XAVIES' Coconut-Cinnamon Granola
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
- 4 tbsp liquid honey
This is how you prepare it
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Halve the pears and remove the core with a melon baller. Cut a small piece off the bottom so the pears stay in place.
Place the pear halves on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Top each pear half with three cranberries, sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg, and drizzle with runny honey. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Remove the dish from the oven, sprinkle with the Coconut-Cinnamon Granola, and return to the oven for another 10 minutes, or until golden brown and fragrant. Note: The exact baking time depends on the ripeness of the pears: the riper they are, the faster they will cook.
